The 8AH485 Distribution Hub contains 8 individual RS-485 channels allowing home-run (star) wiring for thermostats, LCD-96M & LED-7B Keypads, 8R5PR Relay Xpanders and other RS-485 devices.  Each channel has a separate RS-485 driver which can transmit signals up to 4,000 ft. over category-5 cable.

Other features include 2-wire half-duplex operation and 4-wire screw terminal strips (2 power, 2 data).
